A LITTLE LOVE STITCH

I learned at a very young age to knit and crochet. Passing the time with my Mom and neighbors we met in each others homes once a week to work on our various projects and chatting about their lives and family time. I was young back then so not much talking took place for me but oh, how I loved to listen to their voices chime about anything and everything. The more they talked, the faster my fingers would move with my fingers creating afghans, slippers, hats, even doilies and tablecloths. No project seemed too big or too small. I grew to love the art of crocheting and knitting. One of my favorite projects was making what my Mom called Ripple Slippers. They were tricky but oh so nice and soft on your feet when you walk. The photo shows the knitted Ripple slippers made in a childs size (black and variegated blue/green) and the adult size in the black & variegated grey/white. The blue and pink slippers are crocheted. I just wanted to show a variety.
