HEARTFUL STITCHES ... Just in time for VALENTINE'S DAY

"MIDNIGHT" SCARF

"BLUE RHAPSODY"

"EBONY TIPPED SLATE"

"GOLDEN SPLASH"

"SENSUAL RHAPSODY"

Here I have crocheted a series of scarves. They are quick and easy to complete in a matter of hours so I just had fun with them and changed them up a bit. Some are long, some short, and some I have nicknamed the Sassy Tie. The Sassy Tie is quite simply a scarf with a ready made slot so one end easily slips through the slot overlapping each other keeping it in place around the neck. They are soft and fun adding just enough pizzazz to any ensemble!

A LITTLE LOVE STITCH

I learned at a very young age to knit and crochet. Passing the time with my Mom and neighbors we met in each others homes once a week to work on our various projects and chatting about their lives and family time. I was young back then so not much talking took place for me but oh, how I loved to listen to their voices chime about anything and everything. The more they talked, the faster my fingers would move with my fingers creating afghans, slippers, hats, even doilies and tablecloths. No project seemed too big or too small. I grew to love the art of crocheting and knitting. One of my favorite projects was making what my Mom called Ripple Slippers. They were tricky but oh so nice and soft on your feet when you walk. The photo shows the knitted Ripple slippers made in a childs size (black and variegated blue/green) and the adult size in the black & variegated grey/white. The blue and pink slippers are crocheted. I just wanted to show a variety.
