GLITTER PRINCESS

Just wanted to share a page with you that I made for my grand daughters. Again, I will not post photos on the pages at this time but will add at a later date to the center of the rectangular frame. This was a fun page to make. You can't really see it in the photo but the princess paper below the letter blocks is narrow strips of paper folded in a ruffle pattern simply to add color variation to the page. Just remember to add documentation to your work, i.e. name, place, age, other noted comments and don't be afraid to do it in your own handwriting/printing. Have fun & enjoy!

Stolen Moments

I think I have always had crafts in my bones and actually started out crocheting at the age of 5. My Mom started me out making a chain stitch and not sure of how to "teach" me anything else, my chain became exceptionally long! lol Before long I was crocheting, knitting & sewing into my teen years. I love crafts of many flavors and have dabbled in many things throughout my life. It wasn't until I had my own children that I started Scrapbooking.
Scrapbook pages can be as involved as you want them to be or as simple as you care to make them. It truly is such an easy craft and quite forgiving on all levels. Each page I scrap is an adventure and a thrill to complete!
I asked myself why start a blog? I think if I can offer someone else ideas and give them the boost & encouragement they need to get started on a project then I think it is time well spent. I am not looking for praise or acknowledgements. I have been scrapbooking memories for many years now and compared to some of you other scrappers out there, I would have to say I am old school. Scrapbooking is an ever changing craft and I am thankful for that. So many New Tools are available on an everyday basis to make this a portable craft. All of you who are thinking of getting into Scrapbooking out there, don't tell yourself you don't have time to scrap ... Just Do It!! Before you know it you will have completed a page & then it is on to the next. Have fun and Scrap Your Memories & keep them safe for a rainy day! I love looking back at previous albums I have completed!

I will show you a very simple page I recently completed. (Photo is not included on the page but will be added later)
